Terms of Use

The short version. Diagramforce is a free tool, provided as-is, with no warranty. Your diagrams are yours. Back up your work, use the tool lawfully, and understand that it may change or stop working at any time.

1.Acceptance of these terms

By using Diagramforce you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2.What Diagramforce is

Diagramforce is a free, browser-based diagramming tool that runs in your browser. There is no Diagramforce account, no subscription, and no Diagramforce backend service; you can optionally connect your own Google Drive to sync and share your diagrams (see Section 5). It is offered at no cost for your personal and professional use, subject to the licence below.

3.Licence

The Diagramforce software is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). In short, you may use, share, and adapt the software for non-commercial purposes, provided you give appropriate attribution and distribute any derivative works under the same licence. The diagrams you create with the tool are entirely your own and are not subject to this licence.

4.Your content & responsibilities

You own and are solely responsible for the diagrams you create and for how you share them. You agree to:

use Diagramforce in compliance with all applicable laws and with your own organisation's policies;
not use it to create, store, or share unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
take responsibility for what you expose, and to whom, through any sharing channel: a share link (single diagram or a group link), a view or edit invite, or a file published to a shared Google Drive.

5.Google Drive & third-party services

The optional Google Drive features rely on Google's services, which are governed by Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your Google account and for what you choose to store and share through it. Diagramforce also builds on third-party open-source software (including JointJS, the Salesforce Lightning Design System, pako, and gifenc), each subject to its own licence and terms.

6.Availability & “as is” disclaimer

Diagramforce is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied - including, without limitation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or preservation of your data. The app may change, break, or be discontinued at any time without notice.

Back up your work. Diagrams held in browser storage can be cleared by you, by your browser, by private/incognito modes, or by storage limits. Export important diagrams to files, or save them to your Google Drive.

7.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the author of Diagramforce shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages - including loss of diagrams or data - arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the app.

8.Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and your continued use of Diagramforce after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, where the author is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
